Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's requirements and formulate personalized therapy strategies that guide them to their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients’ motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in close conjunction with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide the most holistic care possible.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide insights and training for patients and their caregivers on necessary therapy techniques to foster progress at home.
• Track and Adapt Treatment Plans: Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies, ensuring alignment with their recovery path.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education and certifications encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Current Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
