Acute Care OR RN - Operating Unit - BSN / ASN

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room (OR) team in Northern Alabama. The OR Nurse will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and collaborating with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes. 

Pay: $75,049 -$95,085 
Schedule: Flexible 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and properly set up. 
• Assess patients before surgery, verifying their medical history, allergies, and pre-operative instructions. 
• Provide intraoperative care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting the surgical team, and maintaining patient safety and comfort. 
• Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols throughout the surgical process. 

Key Qualifications: 

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state. 
• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN). 
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). 
• Previous experience as an Operating Room Nurse or in a surgical setting. 
• Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR).
