Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing detailed physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical and surgical history
• Support surgical diagnosis through careful interpretation of laboratory findings and diagnostic imaging
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized treatment and surgical care plans
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, ensuring proper patient positioning, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-operative care, including medication oversight, wound management, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required
• Clinical rotations with emphasis in surgical specialties strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Valid state licensure or demonstrated eligibility to practice as a Physician Assistant
