Description – Your Mission in the Role

• Interpret results for precision, address discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepping samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, guide new personnel or students, and contribute to the maintenance of laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean workplace while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Necessary Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
