Description – Your Role

• Ensure the accuracy of results, troubleshoot potential discrepancies, and handle preventative maintenance and calibration of the laboratory instruments.
• Support sample collection and prepare specimens as necessary.
• Meticulously document all processes, train newcomers, and uphold rigorous quality standards within the laboratory.
• Foster a safe and organized work atmosphere while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree pursuing ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtained ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Stay current with certification requirements throughout your tenure.
