What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver focused, evidence-based speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia management.
• Coordinate seamlessly with an interdisciplinary team — including occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and family caregivers — to build unified, patient-centered care plans.
• Educate patients and their support systems on strategies that extend therapeutic progress beyond the walls of the clinic.
• Contribute to inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed, maintaining continuity across the full care continuum.
• Produce accurate, timely, and thorough documentation that meets all applicable regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, peer learning, and continuing education to remain at the forefront of the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Arizona.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
