Description – What You Will Achieve

• Conduct both standard and specialized clinical lab tests across disciplines like chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering meticulously to established protocols.
• Verify result accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection, preparing samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all laboratory procedures diligently, train newcomers or students, and uphold the highest quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a safe and sanitized workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a similar allied health field, along with preparing for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Ensure ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain up-to-date certification for the duration of your employment.
