Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using both standardized tools and clinical observation techniques.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication, language processing, voice, fluency, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Deliver direct one-on-one speech-language therapy interventions tailored to each patient's unique presentation and goals.
• Partner closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and family members to ensure cohesive, whole-patient care.
• Educate patients and their support systems on strategies to promote continued progress between clinical sessions.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and treatment as needed, maintaining continuity of care across service lines.
• Produce accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in alignment with federal, state, and facility requirements.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education, peer collaboration, and evidence-based practice.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or currently underway for candidates not yet holding ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Arizona.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date.
