Job Description

• Design Individualized Care Plans: Assess each patient holistically and craft customized occupational therapy programs that address their unique functional goals and personal circumstances
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply clinically proven techniques to improve patients' fine motor function, cognitive processing, sensory integration, and independence in activities of daily living
• Champion Collaborative Care: Partner with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure every patient receives well-rounded, cohesive treatment
• Educate and Empower: Guide patients and their support networks through home exercise strategies and adaptive techniques that sustain progress long after sessions end
• Track Outcomes and Refine Approaches: Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation and continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans to keep each patient moving forward

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing professional development and post-graduate certifications actively supported and encouraged

Certifications

• Valid, active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in good standing
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
