Job Responsibilities – What Awaits You

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Document procedures meticulously, train new staff members or students, and uphold high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
