What You Will Be Doing

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that target both immediate functional goals and longer-term communication, swallowing, and cognitive outcomes.
• Deliver focused one-on-one therapy sessions addressing language, fluency, voice, articulation, and dysphagia.
• Partner closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nursing staff, caregivers, and family members to ensure a fully integrated care approach.
• Provide thorough education and home program guidance to patients and their families, reinforcing therapeutic progress between sessions.
• Support inpatient evaluations and interventions on an as-needed basis, promoting seamless continuity of care across care settings.
• Complete timely, precise documentation in alignment with applicable state, federal, and organizational requirements.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education, peer consultation, and engagement with current research in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under appropriate supervision if ASHA certification is still in progress.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Arizona.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
