Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions targeting mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams — including physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehab specialists — to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education around therapeutic goals, home exercise programming, and discharge preparation
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to support seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, orthopedics, or neurology are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred
