Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients using both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft tailored treatment plans that focus on both immediate objectives and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting aspects such as language, voice, fluency, and swallowing practices.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families to help support ongoing progress beyond the walls of our clinic.
• Contribute to the inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, adhering to all state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Education

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is encouraged.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
