Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including complete physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory data to support the identification and assessment of surgical conditions
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized surgical care plans
• Offer hands-on intraoperative assistance — including patient positioning, sterile field preparation, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Oversee high-quality pre- and post-operative care, encompassing wound management, medication oversight, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required
• Clinical training with a concentration in surgical rotations is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid Arizona Physician Assistant licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
