What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using standardized assessments and skilled clinical observation.
• Design individualized, goal-driven treatment plans that address communication, language, fluency, voice, cognition, and swallowing — both short-term and long-term.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques tailored to each patient's unique profile and background.
• Work hand-in-hand with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, caregivers, and families to build cohesive, patient-centered care plans.
• Educate patients and their support systems to reinforce therapeutic gains beyond scheduled sessions.
• Contribute to inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring seamless continuity across care settings.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with organizational, state, and federal standards.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained.

Licensure and Certifications

• Active California state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
