Position Overview

Bonus Opportunity: Earn a $18,000 bonus paid out as $3,000 monthly over six months after 30 days of employment. Eligibility requires a minimum of two years' experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.

This role is ideal for a licensed Radiologic Technologist specializing in cardiac catheterization. You will play a vital role in assisting cardiologists by ensuring high-quality imaging and proper storage of images during procedures. Operating fluoroscopy equipment with precision, you will support diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization efforts. Your responsibilities also include accurate billing and assisting as a scrub technician during various catheterization procedures. Additionally, you will monitor hemodynamic data and assist with data collection and calculations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Operate and ensure optimal performance of imaging equipment in the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Assist physicians by capturing proper images and sequences to facilitate diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Manage communication flow within the lab, including pages, specimen handling, and housekeeping requests.
• Serve as a Monitor Technician, acquiring hemodynamic and electrophysiological data through computerized sampling.
• Document procedural changes and prepare supply requisitions as needed.
• Support physicians as a scrub technician during coronary arteriography and cardiac interventions.
• Maintain proficiency across Radiographic Technician, Monitor Technician, and Scrub Technician roles through ongoing education and conference participation.

Education and Experience

• Preferred: Minimum two years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
• Recent graduates within the past two years from a Radiology Technology program may be considered.
• Alternatively, licensed Radiation Technologists with five years of recent experience are eligible.

Licenses and Certifications

• Required: California Radiologic Technology certificate (CRT).
• Required: California Fluoroscopy permit.
• Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required.
