Position Overview

Earn a $18,000 bonus paid out monthly over 6 months after 30 days of employment. Bonus eligibility requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.

This role is ideal for a licensed Radiologic Technologist specializing in cardiac catheterization. You will play a vital role in assisting cardiologists by ensuring high-quality imaging and proper documentation during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operating fluoroscopy equipment with precision, you will help deliver excellent patient care in a busy cardiac catheterization environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Operate and ensure optimal performance of imaging equipment in the cardiac cath lab.
• Assist physicians by capturing proper images and sequences to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Manage communication flow within the lab, including coordination of pages, specimen handling, and housekeeping requests.
• Perform monitoring duties by acquiring hemodynamic and electrophysiological data through computerized systems.
• Assist as a scrub technician during coronary arteriography and cardiac interventions.
• Maintain competence across radiographic, monitoring, and scrub technician roles through ongoing education and training.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred.
• Recent graduates (within 2 years) from an accredited Radiology Technology program or licensed Radiation Technologists with 5 years recent experience may be considered.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid CRT (Radiologic Technology certificate) required.
• California Fluoroscopy permit required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

All candidates must successfully complete a physical exam, drug screening, and background check prior to employment.
