What You'll Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, and developing individualized, evidence-based care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, and episodic conditions — independently or in collaboration with attending physicians based on scope and credentialing
• Guiding patients and their families through education on prevention strategies, wellness practices, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within established practice guidelines
• Overseeing patient follow-up protocols and ongoing chronic care coordination
• Contributing meaningfully within interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and comprehensiveness of treatment
• Maintaining precise, timely, and thorough documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner training program

Required Certifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• Board certification through AANP or ANCC (FNP-C or specialty equivalent)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or the ability to obtain both within 90 days of hire
