Job Description

• Design Individualized Care Plans: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to each individual's functional needs and personal priorities
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply current, research-supported therapeutic techniques to improve patients' motor function, cognitive performance, and independence in daily activities
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and social workers to deliver cohesive, whole-person rehabilitation care
• Empower Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers with practical tools and strategies to reinforce therapeutic progress outside of clinical sessions
• Track and Refine Outcomes: Maintain thorough clinical documentation, monitor patient progress consistently, and modify treatment approaches to ensure continued advancement toward goals

Education

• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Post-graduate certifications and continuing education are welcomed and actively supported

Certifications

• Active OTR/L license required, valid in the state of California
• NBCOT certification required
