Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive physical assessments and in-depth review of medical and surgical histories
• Interpret laboratory findings and diagnostic imaging to assist in identifying and staging surgical conditions
• Partner with attending surgeons to develop individualized treatment plans and guide patients through the decision-making process
• Provide active intraoperative support — from OR setup and patient positioning to instrument handling and real-time clinical assistance during procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-surgical care encompassing medication management, wound assessment, discharge coordination, and thorough patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a meaningful surgical rotation component is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Valid California PA licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain it

Skills

• Solid command of surgical technique fundamentals and strict sterile field protocol
