Job Description

• Design Individualized Care Plans: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify each patient's unique needs and craft personalized occupational therapy programs aimed at restoring function and maximizing independence
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply the latest therapeutic techniques to address deficits in fine motor skills, cognitive function, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
• Partner with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure each patient receives well-rounded, holistic rehabilitation
• Empower Patients and Their Support Networks: Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs, adaptive strategies, and techniques that sustain progress long after discharge
• Track Progress and Refine Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes with precision, document clearly, and adapt treatment approaches to ensure every patient remains on the path toward their goals

Education

• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Certifications

• Active OTR/L licensure in the state of California
• NBCOT certification required
