About the Role

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations spanning abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging modalities
• Guide patients through each procedure with calm, clear communication and a reassuring presence
• Partner with radiologists and clinical physicians to deliver diagnostic images of the highest quality and clinical value
• Monitor, operate, and maintain ultrasound equipment, escalating any technical issues in a timely manner
• Accurately document all procedures and update patient records within the electronic health record system
• Actively pursue continuing education and stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in sonographic imaging

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active ARDMS certification or an equivalent credentialing body in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
