Description – What You’ll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established procedures to ensure meticulous results.
• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and conduct regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required, ensuring all processes are up to standard.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, play a significant role in training new staff, and help uphold lab quality protocols.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while strictly following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, complemented by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance is a requirement for continued employment.
