Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams — including physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehab specialists — to drive optimal outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of evaluations, sessions, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Actively contribute to care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to support seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialty certifications such as neurological or geriatric rehab are welcomed, though not required

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred
