Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including complete physical assessments and in-depth review of medical and surgical histories
• Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory findings, and clinical data to support accurate surgical diagnoses
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop individualized, evidence-based surgical care plans
• Offer hands-on intraoperative support, including patient positioning, sterile field maintenance, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Manage pre- and post-operative care with attention to medication protocols, wound management, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical concentration are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Valid California state licensure as a Physician Assistant, or eligibility to obtain

• Solid command of surgical technique, sterile protocols, and intraoperative safety standards
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex diagnostic information and contribute meaningfully to clinical decision-making
