Job Description

• Design Individualized Care Plans: Conduct thorough patient assessments and craft personalized therapy strategies that align with each patient's functional goals and long-term wellbeing
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply current, research-supported techniques to improve motor function, cognitive performance, and the ability to carry out meaningful daily activities
• Partner Across Disciplines: Engage daily with a rich team of OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure every patient receives seamlessly coordinated, whole-person care
• Empower Patients and Families: Educate caregivers and loved ones with the tools, techniques, and confidence to reinforce therapeutic progress in real-life environments
• Track Progress and Refine Approaches: Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, continuously monitoring outcomes and adapting treatment pathways to keep each patient moving forward

Education

• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Pursuit of post-graduate certifications and continuing education is actively encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid, active OTR/L licensure in the state of California
• NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is required
