Job Description

• Perform detailed patient assessments encompassing thorough physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical and surgical histories
• Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic findings to support surgical evaluation and planning
• Work alongside attending surgeons to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition and goals
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, maintaining sterile fields, appropriate patient positioning, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Manage the full continuum of perioperative care, from pre-surgical patient education and medication management to wound assessment, discharge coordination, and follow-up planning

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program is required
• Clinical training with a concentration in surgical subspecialties is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid California state licensure as a Physician Assistant, or verified eligibility to obtain licensure
