Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive review of medical histories prior to surgical intervention
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful analysis of imaging results and laboratory data
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized, patient-specific treatment plans
• Provide active intraoperative support, including room preparation, confirming patient positioning, and facilitating instrument handoffs throughout procedures
• Deliver well-rounded pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound evaluation, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a demonstrated emphasis in surgical settings strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid California state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physician Assistant
