Job Description

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients’ needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aims
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based methods to strengthen patients’ motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily functions
• Collaborate with Multiple Disciplines: Engage with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff for a comprehensive and holistic approach to care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Teach therapy techniques to patients and caregivers to maintain progress at home
• Oversee and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and fine-tune treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their recovery journey

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for ongoing education or additional certifications encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification essential
