Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, which include physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Aid in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab findings
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and implement patient-centered surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital support during operations, preparing surgical spaces, ensuring correct patient positioning, and facilitating instrument transfers
• Offer excellent pre- and post-operative support, covering medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a surgical focus is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Currently holds an unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
