Job Description

• Formulate Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients’ requirements and create tailored therapy strategies that help them meet their personal rehabilitation objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-supported methods to improve patients’ motor functions, cognitive abilities, and essential daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, whole-person care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide training and resources to patients and their families, ensuring they have the techniques and knowledge necessary to support rehabilitation at home.
• Track Progress and Adapt Strategies: Monitor treatment results and adjust approaches as needed, ensuring that each patient remains on track to meet their goals.

Education

• Earned a degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education and specialty training

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
