Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive physical examinations and detailed medical history reviews
• Support surgical diagnosis by interpreting laboratory findings, imaging studies, and other diagnostic data
• Work alongside attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized surgical treatment plans tailored to each patient
• Assist directly in the operating room, including patient positioning, sterile field preparation, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Manage pre- and post-operative care responsibilities including medication protocols, wound management, discharge coordination, and thorough patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required
• Clinical rotations with a concentration in surgical specialties strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid California state licensure as a Physician Assistant, or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
