What You'll Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, and crafting individualized, evidence-based care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, and episodic conditions — independently or in collaboration with physicians based on scope and credentialing
• Guiding patients and their families through health education, disease prevention strategies, and wellness planning
• Prescribing medications, therapies, and treatment regimens within your authorized scope of practice

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C via AANP or ANCC) or applicable specialty equivalent
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
