Job Responsibilities

• Craft Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patient requirements and create personalized treatment approaches that help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ proven therapeutic techniques to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families in therapy practices to ensure continuity of progress in a home environment.
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical development and adapt treatment plans as necessary to promote successful outcomes.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

License and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in California
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required
