Position Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join a high-performing imaging team in San Diego. Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging procedures
• Create a calm, reassuring environment for patients, walking them through each step of the process with clarity and genuine care
• Partner with radiologists and referring providers to capture and deliver high-quality, diagnostically accurate images
• Monitor, operate, and maintain imaging equipment in proper working order, escalating any technical concerns without delay
• Document procedures thoroughly and manage patient records within the facility's electronic health records platform
• Remain engaged with evolving best practices and emerging techniques in the field of diagnostic sonography

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active ARDMS certification or recognized equivalent credential in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• BLS certification preferred at time of hire
