Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth review of medical and surgical histories
• Support diagnostic workups by interpreting laboratory data, imaging findings, and other clinical indicators relevant to surgical planning
• Partner with the surgical team to develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals
• Assist surgeons directly in the OR, including room preparation, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, maintaining sterile fields, and providing instrument support throughout procedures
• Manage patient care across the full surgical continuum, from pre-operative education and counseling to post-operative wound management, discharge coordination, and follow-up planning

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with meaningful surgical rotation experience strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Valid California state licensure or active eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physician Assistant
