Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including complete physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews prior to surgical intervention
• Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory findings, and clinical data to support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions
• Partner directly with attending surgeons to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment and surgical care plans
• Offer hands-on intraoperative assistance — including sterile field preparation, patient positioning, instrument handling, and procedural support across a broad range of surgical cases
• Provide attentive pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound assessment, discharge coordination, and thorough patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a concentration in surgical specialties strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid California state licensure as a Physician Assistant, or verified eligibility to obtain licensure
