Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, explaining each process with empathy and transparency
• Collaborate sharply with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic imagery
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing malfunctions diligently
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within the digital medical system
• Remain updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Background

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Licensure and Certifications

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent is required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
