Job Duties

• Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients’ individual needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based approaches to boost patients’ motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily life activities
• Collaborate with Multifaceted Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to guarantee comprehensive, integrative patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their loved ones regarding therapy methods to facilitate continued progress outside of sessions
• Monitor Progress: Keep thorough records of clinical outcomes, recommending adjustments to treatment as necessary to ensure patients stay on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited organization
• Continuing education or advanced certifications strongly encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification essential
