Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and in-depth review of clinical and surgical histories
• Support diagnostic workups by interpreting laboratory findings, imaging results, and relevant clinical data to inform surgical planning
• Partner with attending surgeons to develop individualized care plans and guide patients through each phase of their surgical journey
• Offer hands-on intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, maintaining sterile fields, patient positioning, and instrument coordination throughout procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-surgical care covering wound management, medication protocols, discharge instructions, and ongoing patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Surgical clinical rotation experience is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid California state licensure as a Physician Assistant, or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
