Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Opportunity 

MLee Healthcare is looking for a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician's Assistant to join a well established hospital on the central coast.

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in California. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care to patients and families of all ages, with a strong emphasis on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; analyze results to diagnose conditions.
• Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized care to address or prevent illness and injury.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.
• Discuss procedures, explain test results, and outline prescribed treatments with patients.
• Document patient findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes in the electronic medical record.
• Supervise and direct professional and ancillary staff in patient care.
• Stay current with medical practices and advancements.
• Ensure the confidentiality of patient information is maintained at all times.

Education & Certifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner.
• California State licensure.
• Current DEA licensure.
• BLS Certification.

Experience:

• 3 years preferred, though new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
