Description – What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in specimen collection and ensure timely preparation of samples for analysis when necessary.
• Keep meticulous records of procedures, support the training of new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Certification must remain current throughout employment.
