Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad range of ultrasound examinations, which include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular imaging, as well as small parts.
• Make patient comfort and safety your priority during all procedures, clearly explaining every step of the process with kindness.
• Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure top-notch diagnostic images.
• Handle and maintain imaging machinery to ensure efficiency, alerting management to any issues immediately.
• Keep thorough documentation of procedures and manage patient records in the electronic medical system.
• Remain informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and methodologies.

Education Requirements

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in Sonography is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Valid certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
