Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout each procedure
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, quickly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately log procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
