Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations that encompass physical assessments and comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging tests and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to formulate patient-centered surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing instruments during operations
• Offer outstanding care before and after surgery, embracing responsibilities like administering medication, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strongly prefer candidates who have completed clinical rotations concentrated in surgery

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
