Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using both standardized assessment tools and clinical observation methods.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique communication, cognitive-linguistic, fluency, voice, and swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs and pace of each patient.
• Partner closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nursing staff, families, and caregivers to ensure a fully integrated approach to patient care.
• Provide meaningful education and guidance to patients and their support systems to reinforce therapeutic progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Participate in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed to maintain seamless continuity of care.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained.

Certifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
