What You Will Be Doing
Your days here will be anything but routine. You will step into the lives of real people navigating real challenges — stroke survivors relearning how to button a shirt, post-surgical patients working to reclaim their kitchen independence, and individuals with neurological conditions pushing through plateaus they were told were permanent. You will meet them where they are and walk alongside them as they go further than they thought possible.
This is not a clipboard-and-checklist kind of role. Every patient carries a story, and your clinical instincts, creativity, and compassion will be the tools that help write the next chapter. You will co-develop rehabilitation plans with a team of equally committed professionals — therapists, physicians, nurses, and case managers — all united around one goal: meaningful, lasting recovery.
Why You Will Love the Team — and the Place That Inspires You
The culture we have built is one of mutual respect, shared celebration, and continuous learning. When a patient achieves a milestone, the whole team feels it. When a clinician has a new idea, it gets heard. You will not disappear into a hierarchy here — you will be seen, supported, and given real room to grow.
And outside the clinic? Colorado Springs has a way of making even your days off feel extraordinary. Perched at the base of Pikes Peak — one of the most iconic summits in the American West — this city offers a landscape so dramatic it almost does not feel real. Towering red rock formations rise from the earth at Garden of the Gods, trails weave through pine forests at every elevation, and on clear mornings, the mountain views visible from your commute are enough to make anyone stop and breathe a little deeper.
But Colorado Springs is not all wilderness and wonder. The city buzzes with a vibrant downtown full of locally owned restaurants, craft breweries, independent coffee roasters, and weekend farmers markets that feel more like community celebrations. The arts scene punches above its weight, with galleries, live performance venues, and a creative energy that draws makers and thinkers from across the country. The military heritage here runs deep, lending the community a sense of pride, purpose, and resilience that you can feel in everyday interactions.
Whether your idea of unwinding is summiting a fourteener, exploring an art district, cheering at a minor league baseball game, or simply watching the alpenglow fade over the peaks from your back porch — this city delivers in ways that constantly surprise.
Who We Are Looking For
We want someone who chose occupational therapy because they could not imagine doing anything else. Someone who feels the win personally when a patient finally prepares their own meal again, or shakes a hand with fingers that were not moving last month. That fire — that deep professional satisfaction that comes from truly transforming a life — is what sets the best OTs apart, and it is exactly what we are looking for.
You may be an experienced clinician looking for a setting that matches your ambition, or an emerging practitioner eager for mentorship and meaningful caseloads. Either way, if you lead with empathy, approach challenges with curiosity, and hold your standards high without losing your humanity — you will fit right in.
Take the Next Step Toward Something That Matters
This is more than a career move. It is an invitation to plant yourself somewhere that fuels you — professionally and personally — and to do work that genuinely changes what is possible for the people in your care. A role this fulfilling, in a city this alive, does not come around every day.
If you are ready to elevate your practice, deepen your impact, and live somewhere that makes the most of every single day — we would love to meet you.
