Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging results and lab tests
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative support, such as preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and managing surgical instruments
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
