Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing both standardized diagnostic tools and keen observational clinical judgment.
• Design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address each patient's unique communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing needs across short- and long-term timelines.
• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions grounded in the latest evidence-based practices.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nursing staff, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their support networks, reinforcing therapeutic progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions when needed, ensuring continuity and quality of care across care settings.
• Uphold meticulous, timely documentation practices in compliance with organizational, state, and federal standards.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or currently in progress if ASHA certification has not yet been awarded.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in good standing.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
