What You Will Be Doing

• Carefully evaluate results for integrity and accuracy, proactively identify discrepancies, and perform calibration and preventative maintenance across laboratory instrumentation.
• Support specimen collection workflows and prepare patient samples for downstream testing as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all laboratory procedures, support onboarding of new staff and students, and actively contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
• Uphold a clean, safe, and regulation-compliant workspace consistent with accreditation and institutional standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a closely related allied health field is required. Equivalent combinations of education and ASCP or AMT certification preparation will also be considered.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science is required, with attainment within one year of hire if not already held.
• Candidates must maintain active certification throughout the duration of employment.
